Returning Students
Re-registration will begin in February. Please wait to start the process until then.
Step 1: Complete the Thompson School District Annual Family Check-In for the 2026-27 school year:
Step 2: Complete the required documents and return them to your child’s teacher:
Colorado licensing requires the early childhood programs to update student documents each year. When it is time for re-enrollment, your teacher will provide the necessary paperwork to you.
- Classroom preference form
- Health / Emergency card
- Lions Vision Screening form
- Classroom Placement Agreement
- Physical if it has been 1 year or more since last submitted
- Head Start students need an annual blood (HCT/HGB) screen and dental exam
Step 3: Wait to hear from us regarding Universal Preschool Colorado.
Although we cannot guarantee placement in a requested center, teacher, or AM/PM/Full Day Session; by completing these first 2 steps no later than the date requested, your child as a returning student will have a better chance of being placed at the location and program you would like. This gives you an opportunity prior to placing new student enrollments, as programs fill up quickly.
Keep in mind that failure to complete the process or submit all the documentation will jeopardize your child's placement in our program. No student will be able to begin classes unless all steps have been completed in full.
